20Meter “Self-Righting” SAR Vessels for Canadian Coast Guard
We are presently building a series of six (6) new SAR vessels with optional vessels. These new aluminum vessels will all be delivered to Dartmouth Nova Scotia wherin the Canadian Coast Guard will distribute them to the various Coast Guard Bases.
These 20Meter “Self Righting” SAR vessels features:
State of the art and fitted with an elaborate “integrated” electronics package”.
Propulsive power comes from a pair of MTU 1600 HP marine Diesel engines driving 5 blade skewed 50″ diameter NiBral propellers through ZF V-drives providing a speed of up to 24 knots in extreme weather conditions.
These vessels are primarily a day boat and will be operated by a crew of up to five(5) Coast Guard seamen with an autonomy of up to 200 KM offshore.
